Services we offer

Safety Critical Roles

Our team encompasses a wide range of safety-critical roles essential for maintaining the highest standards in railway operations. Our personnel include:

  • Planners: Expertly coordinating and strategizing project timelines and resource allocation including the creation of safe work packs.
  • Level A and ES's (Engineering Supervisors): Overseeing engineering activities to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • PIC (Person In Charge): Managing site operations and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • COSS (Controller of Site Safety): Overseeing site safety and managing personnel access.
  • LXA (Level Crossing attendant): Ensuring the safety of work sites by managing track access and protection at level crossings
  • Points Operatives: Skilled in the operation and maintenance of track points to facilitate smooth train movements.
  • DC Strapman: Specializing in placing and applying isolation solutions to protect workforce within a worksite.
  • NSCD Operatives (Negative Short Circuit Device): Responsible for the switching of LCP's to assist in protection of a workforce within a worksite.
  • HV Comps (High Voltage Competent Persons): Skilled and trained in switching out high voltage cables, following the procedure set out within a High-voltage assessment and ensuring the methodology agreed in the planning stage.
  • Machine Controllers: Overseeing specialized machinery used in railway maintenance and construction.

Supervisory Roles

 Our supervisory team is equipped with the necessary qualifications to oversee complex projects, including:

  • SSSTS (Site Supervisor's Safety Training Scheme): Training ensuring site supervisors are well-versed in health and safety practices.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme): Advanced training for site managers focusing on safety management in construction environments.
  • STE3 Minor Structural Examiners: Qualified to conduct inspections and assessments of minor structural works on rail infrastructure.

Trackmen and Labour

 Our trackmen and labour force possess extensive experience across various aspects of Permanent Way (P-Way) operations, including:

  • Sub-grade or Formation: Expertise in preparing the foundational layer for track installation.
  • Ballast: Proficient in the installation and maintenance of ballast to ensure track stability.
  • Sleepers: Skilled in the installation and replacement of sleepers, critical for track alignment and support.
  • Rails: Experienced in laying and maintaining rails to ensure safe and efficient train travel.
  • Fixture and Fastening: Knowledgeable in securing track components to withstand operational stresses.
  • Cable Pulling: Handling the installation of electrical and communication cables alongside tracks.
  • Track Drainage Works: Implementing and then maintaining drainage solutions to prevent water accumulation and track erosion.
  • Minor Civils: Conducting minor civil engineering works to support track infrastructure.
  • Strimming and De-vegetation Works: Managing vegetation control to maintain clear sightlines and safe operating conditions.
